Yeah, really need to make a few posts

So anyway, Was sitting there at work wondering what could I be doing, apart from work of course, when i thought: I should probably make a few more posts in the auld live journal. This week has been boring as bejesus, despite starting very well. Just gotta love the August bank holiday. Spent the best part of it in Sorcha's playing a vast variety of boardgames.
I think these impromptu cons should happen more often, or possibly the whole summer hiatus from actual cons is affecting my brain..... in any case, i felt that the whole SorchasBrokenFootCon definitely got two thumbs up. The only possible way for it to have been improved would have been my actually WINNING one of the aforementioned games! I'm still going with Brian's idea of highest untied wins, which technically means that i didn't suck at Puerto Rico.
In other news, finally won a game of V:TES on tuesday night. Yayyy!!!! Only been playing it about 5 months, but hey whos counting ;-)
